Hey Everyone,

It’s Friday, so it’s time for my new weekly blog answering your questions. It received a lot of positive response last week, so it looks like I’ll be making this a more regular feature in the future.

I’ve got quite a few questions that I’ve received over the past week through the comment section and twitter, but I probably won’t get to answer all of them today. I’ll use the excuse that I want to save some for next week, which is the truth, but I’ve also had a crazy long day and want to go to bed at a decent hour tonight.

This came from last weeks comment section from Steph:

I had a question that came from your answer about Silver Rage comics. In the ANI universe has the stories with Robyn and Hazel (from GWS) visiting one another still happened? I know they are still related because of Selina.

Robyn and Hazel are still related, so I’m sure some GWS characters have crossed paths in the past in the ANI Universe. Did their interactions happen the way they did in Silver Rage? Probably not, but they’ve definitely hung out on occasion.

Speaking of GWS, QuackDuck314 asks:

Will we see some GWS crossover here? (related, what’s the setting?) I know Robyn and Hazel are related, which is what brought me here. I certainly don’t mean every day, but it seems like they might run into one another occasionally.

Who knows, maybe. If I figure out a story that is worth telling, and I have the permission of Ms Corsetto, I don’t see why not. It’s not an idea I would ever dismiss, but at the same time, it’s not something I’m actively pursuing. I would never want to write a crossover with the GWS characters and have it look like we’re only doing it to get a bump in readership. The kitten storyline was a great opportunity for a crossover, because it was a very natural organic story.

Side note, I convinced Danielle to give us one of the kittens while we were out drinking at the Meck, her hometown bar. We were out in the back listening to Chelsea McBee and she told us the idea about giving the kittens away. In a drunken stupor I came up with the storyline of Robyn getting the cat, bringing it to the store and the cat falling in love with the store and not wanting to go home with Robyn.

And last, but not least, this one comes from @johnathonbrock on Twitter:

Who is the comic book shops most loyal customer?

My first instinct is to say Robyn. We haven’t really delved into her interests, but she’s definitely a comic geek. She’s also Jason’s best friend and incredibly supportive of him. But who am I kidding, Robyn’s the type of gal who goes into the store on a Saturday afternoon, grabs a ton of books off the shelf and reads them while raiding Jason’s liquor cabinet.

An actual paying customer? I’d go with Crusher, the wrestler.

Ok, that’s enough for tonight. I’ve got a couple more questions I’ll answer next week. Since I have them already I can get a head start on writing this blog post. It’s never a good idea to start writing this at 10 the night before it needs to be posted. It’s after 11 now and I’m sure there is something on Hulu Plus calling my name to watch before I go to sleep. I’ve been wanting to try and get into the habit of getting to bed before midnight, but it looks like today’s not the day.

Remember, post any questions you have in the comment section. They can be questions about us, our writing and drawing process, or something about the story… anything you want to know.

See you Monday!
Dani
