#235 The Exact Opposite
Well crap. I had a list of all the things I was going to do when I got home, yet somehow it’s almost 10pm and I’ve done none of them. It’s amazing how time can get away from you. And it’s not like I was actually wasting time on the internet for once. I was just busy.
Bill and I went to the gym together for the first time to work out today. I’ve been telling him for months now he should join and it’ll get us both to be more active. Good news is, I think Bill’s going to become a treadmill walking gym rat. Bad news, I still hate walking on a treadmill. I find it to be the most painfully boring thing ever. Even while listening to music, or even watching TV, I hate it. Sure we could go out for a walk outside, but last time we did that, Bill found six ticks on him. I’m now avoiding the outdoors as much as I can.
Plus, there’s a lone wild turkey roaming the streets of our neighborhood. I don’t want to mess with him. (He has a strut. – Bill)
