We Did it!!!!
Our Kickstarter has finally ended and we are officially funded. Thanks to all of you, we were able to double our initial goal. It’s crazy!
As you can see, we are celebrating in today’s strip. It’s actually a sneak peak at the exclusive post card we’ll be sending out with the Kickstarter packages. Don’t worry, it’ll be in full color when you get it in the mail.
We also just received the first proofs back from the printer, and they look great. If you want to see a sneak peak of them, head on over to the Kickstarter page. We recorded a special thank you video to everyone. If everything goes well, we’ll have the books debuting at the Super WildPig Show in NJ on May 5-6.

Hey Everyone,
The Kickstarter is almost finished. If you want to pre-order your book, make sure you go over there and buy it. We’ve hit all our incentive goals, so if you pledge $20 or more you’ll be getting the book, a postcard, a set of sketch cards and a set of buttons. Plus, whatever the pledge comes with.
And don’t worry, once we have the books in hand we’ll be setting up a store on the website and you can order them that way too.
Thanks to everyone who has pledged. You have no idea how much it means to us that we’ve reached our goal and beyond that. It’s amazing.

Bill Watterson is one of my oldest influences. I know that’s true for many, many people, but when I saw the opportunity to make a Selina strip in the Calvin & Hobbes style, I had to go for it. The Selina strips have been a wonderful excuse for me to play with other styles of art, in this case, going back to one of my childhood heroes.
Alright, everybody! We’re hitting the home stretch on the Kickstarter! The book has been finished and sent to the printer, and if all goes well, we’ll be fully stocked at The Super Wild Pig show in less than a month. This is very, very exciting.

Guys! We’re almost to $5500 on the Kickstarter! We might have to start cooking up a $6000 goal. Remember, once we reach the $5500 mark, everyone who’s pledged $20 or more will get an exclusive art thank-you postcard and a set of full-color sketchcards of the cast from the book!

Sorry we weren’t able to post anything on Friday! This week, we were at our most busy: a holiday weekend, the book to put together, and a party that it was my responsibility to throw, and plenty more. But we’re back now, the book is almost done, and things are starting to get back on track.
Speaking of on track, the Kickstarter has passed the $5000 mark! Everyone who’s pledged $20 or more will receive a postcard from Dani and I with exclusive artwork as a thank you! There’s still one more incentive for $5500, and that’s full-color cards of the cast page images, so keep spreading the word.

Hey everyone,
Sorry we didn’t warn you, but we realized we were going to have to take this week to finish off the book. Since we’ve reached our goal on kickstarter, we’ll be sending the book off to the printer this week. So, we are going to have to take the next week off to get all the little last details together. We need to do some last minute art and a couple round of edits.
We didn’t want to do it, but we realized if we wanted to meet our deadline, and have these books by the Super Wildpig Show, we’d have to take a week break.
But, you’ll get sneak peeks of the upcoming book all week long. Today is teaser shots of the cover.
And remember, you can still pledge to our Kickstarter, which is the best way to pre-order the book right now. We’ve got 17 days left on it. We’re very close to reaching our first incentive. At $5,000 we will include an exclusive Thank You card to everyone who pledged $20 or more.

I think one of my favorite things about this run of strips that Dani’s been writing is that Jason, Todd, or Robyn aren’t actually in them. Usually, when we do that, it’s a Selina strip; there’s only been a small handful of story-related strips that don’t have the main three in them.
On the Kickstarter front, we’re about halfway to the next round of incentives! When we reach $5000, everybody who pledged $20 or more will receive a unique thank you postcard with exclusive artwork. Also, you get the book, of course! We’ve been plugging away at it, and we’re about a week or so away from sending it to the printer. It should be done, with luck, by the Super WildPig Show, and you’ll be able to buy them (or pick them up) there! You can also preorder tickets for the Super WildPig Show by clicking the appropriate link to the left.
One last thing: Dani and I will be at the Castle Point Anime Convention this Sunday. I’ll be doing sketches, and we’ll be spreading the word about ANI vol 1. If you’re in the Hoboken area and want to meet us, this is a great time to do it as we’re normally not in Hoboken.
