Part of being an adult is knowing where and how to spend your money. This can include money spent on booze, cigarettes and other non-vital commodities where spending said money will create a situation in which one is unable to afford basic necessities such as a home or to afford maintaining self-employment. And Todd’s case need not be elaborated upon, correct?
I like the black cloud over Jason’s head. That just sells the picture. I guess I have a question. Whose backstory would you delve into first? You seemed to show a lot of interest in Karen, but we seem to still be in Todd’s arc…
1. How fast the Visa fills up
2. How much faster it fills up with $40 bar tabs a few nights per week
3. How much MUCH faster it fills up when you’re trying to get someone like Robyn drunk enough to get laid, and now the tab is $80!
4. When #3 doesn’t work, and it’s STILL $80!!
Ugh… I know their pain. Or at least Robyn and Todd. It sucks so much to not have money and to have to put rent on a card. I’m still trying to pay that stuff back.
I’m guessing Todd himself doesn’t have a credit card… or any form of credit in general.
So being lucky enough to have a paying job makes you an adult?
I don’t mind being an adult. It’s acting like one that I have difficulty with.
It’s crazy how adulthood can sneak up on you sometimes…

The worst partS of that scenario are:

I’ve been in the same boat. Except I don’t drink or smoke but I tend to spend money on cosplays.
You know it’s a bad sign when you have just as much smoke coming out of your head as you do your cigarette.
