Well, vacation is winding down. Tomorrow, Dani and I leave behind the stormy beaches of North Carolina, heading inland to West Virginia, onward to Baltimore, Maryland, and from there, who know where adventure will whisk us? Probably back to New Jersey, and our regular nine-to-five jobs. Screw you, adventure.
And, as luck would have it, the very object of our West Virginia excursion, one Ms. Danielle Corsetto of Girls With Slingshots fame, has provided today’s awesome guest strip! (I beg your forgiveness if the link doesn’t quite work right… Danielle’s encountered some website trouble recently. And frankly, I’m quite certain that most of you are ANI fans because of GWS anyway, so you know where to go.) Danielle has been a great friend for years now, a huge source of information, inspiration, constructive criticism and positive feedback. It is with immense pleasure that I put up this guest strip.
I’d like to also thank once again Johnny Bentonamo and Sarah ‘Monster’ Gilbert for their adorable Selina strip. You can check out all the stuff they do at the LuckyDoom Studios Facebook page.
Finally, we’ll be at Baltimore Comic-Con this Saturday and Sunday, September 7-8! Come by and say hi! We’ll be at table A237 in the Artist Alley. It’s a great chance to pick up a book if you missed the Kickstarter but don’t feel like waiting for us to get the store up and running, not to mention watch us go giddy over having such awesome fans.
Have a great weekend everybody!
- Bill

It’s a small thing, but I always love seeing characters from one webcomic I read drawn in the style of a universe, especially since GWS and ANI have crossed paths before.
Great guest strip. While you two have different art styles, the writting flows perfecly.
Love it! Definitely got here via GWS but addicted to yours as well!
Soooo, I discovered you guys earlier when I saw the guest strip link from GWS. I was curious about the context. I proceeded to chain smoke and read through your entire archive instead of sleeping. I feel I made the right choice. Fantastic stuff. You are now officially on my list of regular reads. Please keep up the great work!!
Actually! Catnip doesn’t work on humans. My former roommate tried.
Haha I read Girls with Slinghshots, and Todd in this strip looks like Mimi from her comic.
