Happy Labor Day to all my American peeps! Do any other countries celebrate Labor Day? I know, ten seconds on Wikipedia and I would have the answer to this idly asked question, but on the other hand, I’m on vacation. My autodidact tendencies hold only so much sway here.
Anyway, guest strips are coming on Wednesday and Friday. Until then, enjoy!

damn I am jealous I really need a god damn stogie
In Europe, and I think most other places, Labour Day is celebrated on the 1st of May. On Wikipedia you can find it under “International Workers’ Day”. Happy holiday!
Germany has a “Labour Day”, but it’s fixed on May 1st each year.
Happy labor day.
Most countries I’m aware of celebrate International Workers Day isntead of labor day. That’s on May 1st. But I understand the U.S. celebrates something different on May 1st, right?
Canada is celebrating Labour Day today too.
Here in Switzerland (and many other countries) we have something similar on May 1st. Like it was already pointed out, it’s the “International Workers’ day”.
But after reading Wikipedia a little it seems you do more celebrating and less demonstrating than we.
i have that same shirt bill
Actually, the US is unique in celebrating Labor Day. That’s because they’re only folks who spell Labour incorrectly.
TARDIS shirt! Which one and where to get a better look! Never seen that design before!
New Zealand has a Labour day. It’s the last Monday in October ^-^
Heh. Canada celebrates Labour Day, as do a number of other countries (May 1st is May Day, a different holiday).
And as an aside, American Labour Day celebrations were inspired by the same in Toronto!
… stupid trivia brain.
Here, in Chile, Southamerica, we celebrated Labour Day, the “International Workers’ day”, on May 1st.
…I hate it when i catch up on comics… then I have to wait for new ones like everyone else…
also, @AgentAzrael, it says “the angels have the phone box”, It’s called Don’t Blink (by Matt Dearde), and google images gave me a close up of the design by typing in the title.
