And we’re back!
Thanks for all the well-wishes everybody! It’s genuinely nice to have fans who care enough to leave advice and goodwill when the art-machine breaks down. I already feel a lot better than I have, and luckily, the diagnosis isn’t something fearsome like pancreatitis. Even if I don’t have diverticulosis, the other option on the table, Dani and I are already looking into ways to improve our nutrition in the future. I’ve been eating better since this ordeal started, and I could stand to form some better habits in this department. Working as many hours as I do, between art and day-job, I don’t get to eat as often or as well as I should, and that’s nobody’s fault but my own.
Anyway, enough about my ailing health. Dani and I are finally getting to the end of the Kickstarter pledge books! We plan to have them all out by September, and would like to thank you all for your patience and support. For the first week in September, Dani and I will be taking a well-deserved vacation, so we’re lining up a number of talented people to do guest strips. I can’t wait to get them!
Barring any catastrophes, we should be back up to working speed, so see you guys Wednesday. We’re starting a new storyline that I’ve been excited about for months now!
- Bill

Alright Bill glad you are better… Can’t wait to see the new story… I know what you mean with time, work, nutrition and life… It is hard… Love your guys work keep it up…
P.S. know you have alot on your plate but just f.y.i. G+ button is broken.
Hey Bill, glad you’re feeling better and it wasn’t pancreatitis, as always I’m anxiously awaiting the next strip!
It’s all downhill from here. Welcome to geezerhood. The secret password is ‘Youkidstayoffmylawn’
Glad you’re feeling better!
Something I do to make sure I eat properly is to make more than I need for supper, and pack/refrigerate the rest for my work lunch the next day. It’s an easier trick to keep on top of when I’m in a relationship coz my partner and I will take turns making supper, and it’s nice to have their yummy meal for lunch the next day.
It’s healthier, more filling, and saves a bundle!
Also, you can try ingredient substitutes to keep things interesting.
ex; instead of rice, use quinoa (pronounced “keen-wah”)
I love to cook and tend to invent things on the go. I haven’t had a traditional plate of food since I was a kid (rice, meat, veg in separate sections on my plate). I tend to mix things up in a medley.
Have fun! Experiment! Just don’t do sardine lasagna… trust me. It doesn’t work. No matter what Dad says.
Good to “see” you, Bill. Glad it isn’t too serious, and I hope you get completely better very soon.
