I just realized if anyone is like me, and they despise most chick flicks/romantic movies, they might not know what movie is being referenced. It’s The Notebook. I asked friends on facebook and the overwhelming response was that movie. I then read the wikipedia entry on it and decided that it might be the ultimate chick flick. And a movie I’ll never, ever watch. It’s just not my thing. I like things that have action and things blow up.

Oh god, this is way too familiar, lol
can’t place my finger on the movie :<
50 First Dates is a good movie.
The movie he’s referencing is the Notebook.
I was one of the voters on the facebook comments. I was forced to watch this and OH GOD! I wanted to shoot myself by the end!
The Notebook is a terribly, sad movie. Great love story yes, but horribly sad. 50 first dates is just horrific in soooo many ways.
So…funny…..
Can’t….breathe……from….laughing…..
Stick to your guns, Dani. The Notebook is terrible and NOT a love story. It’s two incredibly selfish, angry people who can’t find anyone else to put up with their shit (for those who say, but she had a fiancĂ© blah blah blah – she was NEVER herself with him and he was in love with a false version of her).
At least you can get behind angry, selfish villains. Angry, selfish protagonists? They’re just annoying. The shoot-’em-ups are WAY better.
Yes, you should do Todd. That will help the situation.
@Joie–There’s nothing wrong with being selfish and annoying. If that’s who you are, find someone who is comfortable with that, so you can be selfish and annoying together.
If Jason and Todd found out about this would his bro status be effected? Or would they cry too?
depends on whether they could be forced to watch it; entertaining to watch the big tough guys start crying at the end
Huh. So that’s a movie, huh? I thought it was an episode of Doctor Who I must have missed where the Doctor goes back to the library and reads River’s notebook to solve some timey wimey thing.
Hehe… While I’ve never had this experience in regards to the Notebook, I have had this experience.
The Notebook was one of those movies that I SWORE I would only watch with a girl, preferably a girlfriend. I would have to throw out my man card to watch it without a girl having me watch it.
