I decided I’d write a blog post tonight because I think poor Bill is about ready to pass out. Next week’s vacation can’t come soon enough for him. Our weekend was pretty exhausting, but more so for poor Bill. He helped carry, set up, and carry some more, a whole lot of long boxes full of comics.
The Super WildPig show was awesome, and we both had a blast. We sold some books, Bill did a ton of sketches and we got to meet some readers. Plus, we got to see the Avengers with some of our favorite people, and that was amazing. Win-win all around.
Also, the books came in on Friday. We’ve got about 30 cases sitting in our kitchen right now. They haven’t made it to the basement quite yet. Our muscles and backs are still recuperating from the weekend of longboxes. All the incentives came in on Monday, and I’ve slowly been putting together the sketch card sets. Up next will be making the buttons. I’m hoping next week I’ll be able to start packing up boxes and we’ll slowly start shipping the product out. Once we get through all the Kickstarter orders, then we’ll be setting up a store so you can purchase the book if you haven’t yet. I just want to make sure all the Kickstarter stuff goes out before we get more orders in.
