I realize that you’re trying to keep the strip family friendly, but it looks strange for Robyn to be clutching the sheets to her neck when she’s lying in bed with the man who she just had sex with. Maybe you could try some different camera angles (so to speak).
@Brian Ha, I’m not sure “family-friendly” is the term I’d use. I appreciate the advice, but I actually think its ok to have her clutching the sheets. In context of the story, you could have any number of reasons why Robyn, the character, might choose to do this, from she’s cold afterwards to some weird shyness around Todd now the deed is done. Out of context of the story, speaking as the artist, I made the choice to have her clutch the sheets because Dani and I do want ANI to be SFW. I have considered that it might look silly in context for her to be suddenly bashful, but the camera angles you were talking about can get kind of odd for storytelling purposes. Also, pulling the sheet up is an established trope in stories that want to be SFW, but still deal with adult themes. Any one hour TV drama where two characters have been shown postcoitus has abused this silly move. I totally agree with you that, yeah, in context, it’s pretty ridiculous, but it’s been well-established and gets the job done. Thanks for the feedback! Criticism is good for my soul, and I love talking about storytelling nuance.
I really have to wonder if Robyn is ashamed of sleeping with Todd, if she just doesn’t want everyone to make a huge deal out of it, or some other reason for wanting to keep this quite. I mean, after a point, it will come to light.
Meanwhile… I really wanna know what Todd and Gavin were talking about for 20 min, that was so dull.
telephoibia.
I haz it.
Please tell me he didn’t just answer Robyn’s phone. Please, just please tell me that.
Warpcorps considering that the phone on the bed says “Dee calling” I doubt it.
Also, nice save.

So wait…Why are they having sex? Was the first time really an accident? I am confused.
Richard, re-read this strip: http://www.allnewissuescomic.com/2012/03/11/209-hurry-up-and-stop/
specifically, the last panel.
